(Within the parish and with Sutton Bonington preceding most of their names)

Village Show Committee
           
The Sutton Bonington Show is held on the first Sunday in September on the Sutton Bonington Playing Field. It includes a Horticultural Show, Craft Fair, Gymkhana, and numerous demonstrations, entertainments and attractions. Local charities are supported each year as a result of this show.

Wednesday Fellowship

Meets in the Schoolroom of the Methodist Church on alternate Wednesdays at 10.30am. Short time of devotion, speakers and refreshments. Ladies and gentlemen welcome. Transport provided if needed.

Whist Drive

Mondays at 7.30pm (except 1st Monday in each month) in the Village Hall Library room. Proceeds to St Michael’s and St Anne’s churches.

Women’s Institute

Nearest branch is in Normanton on Soar and meets the 1st Tuesday in every month except August at 7.30pm in the Village Hall, Main Street, Normanton-on-Soar

Youth Clubs (based in the Baptist Church)

ASK Club (School years 4-6)

Meets Tuesday after school at 3.45 – 5.00pm. Activities include crafts, games and creative exploration of bible stories.

Rock Solid Club (School years 7-9)

Meets Tuesday evenings at 7.45-9.15pm. A high energy programme with lots of fun activities and a youth friendly way of exploring important issues from a Christian point of view. Trips out and weekends away included.

The HUB (School year 10+)

Meets Wednesday evenings 8.00 – 9.15pm.
The club meets for social nights, trips out, discussions about relevant issues from a Christian perspective and much more including weekends away.
