Parent Teacher Association
The Association exists to support the school and advance the education of the pupils attending it. It runs several social and fund raising activities throughout the year, including a Bonfire and Firework display, a Jumble Sale in January and a Summer Fete. Funds are used to provide support services not provided by statutory funds. All parental support and help is much appreciated.

Pre-School Playgroup
Meets on weekdays 9.15am-12 noon in St Michael’s Schoolroom. Children from 3 to rising 5 years are welcome. Caring Pre-school Learning Alliance trained staff provide all aspects of pre-school education. Eligible to receive Nursery grant through LEA. Ofsted inspected March 2006

University of Nottingham
The University of Nottingham has a separate campus in Sutton Bonington, which houses the Faculty of Agricultural, Food Sciences and Veterinary School. There are approximately 600 undergraduate students reading for the degree of B.Sc. and 150 postgraduate students following either M.Sc. degree courses or MPhil/PhD research programmes.
There are a number of facilities on the campus, which can be hired for use by local residents. These include rooms for meetings or conferences, the dining hall for wedding receptions etc., sports hall and field for football, cricket, tennis, etc. further information can be obtained from:
