This service is available at a subsidised charge for persons who cannot use conventional public or private transport.

Rushcliffe Voluntary Transport Scheme
This service helps people with no means of transport for necessary journeys, including visits to friends/relatives in hospitals, dentists, chiropodists, opticians, shopping, social clubs etc. There is a charge per mile for most journeys. This scheme is operated by authorised volunteers using their own cars. Further information can be obtained from.

Bus
Efforts have been made recently to promote rural bus services with local and central government grants. Their continuance depends on the level of passenger support and services may be altered or withdrawn from time to time. At the time of writing the following services listed below apply, current timetables are available from the Library and the Post Office:       

                               
Rainbow buses, service number 5B, which run between Nottingham and Loughborough via Sutton Bonington.

Paul S Winson Coaches operate service number 65 between East Leake and Nottingham, via Sutton Bonington and Normanton on Soar

Soar Valley Community Bus operates services between Sutton Bonington, East Leake, Loughborough, West Bridgford (Asda) and surrounding villages as required by the local community. Time table is available from the Post Office. This mini-bus is owned by Nottinghamshire County Council and driven by authorised volunteers.
